Puffed Sleeves

Who doesn't love to bring out those outfits with puffed sleeves? I used to watch Anne of Green Gables all the time and having puffed sleeves on dresses was the IT thing. I wore one of my favorite shirt this morning.

I found Jury Duty quite interesting. I was 1/120 people picked for possible jury duty once I got there. We filed into a court room to find out that it was a criminal case and they expected to last 2-3 weeks. The judge said that we were all expected back on Thursday morning at 9am unless we filed a hardship exemption and were excused. At this point I started getting nervous considering that I had an interview scheduled the next morning. I filled out a form explaining how competitive the industry is and how they hope to make a decision by the end of this week. LUCKY ME! I got excused from jury duty and I don't have to come back for at least 12 months!

My mom has always been one of those "keep the fridge de-cluttered" people. Last night I walked in the kitchen to find Christmas cards had thrown up all over our fridge. I commented on how weird it was to have clutter on the fridge. You never know when this will happen again!

Ack! I've been out of the loop on blog reading for the last couple of days, but I'mplaying catch-up tonight. So, congrats on the job interview going well! Yay! Sending good vibes your way that you'll get the job. ;0) That photo of you is beautiful! Gotta' love the puffy sleeves. Let's see...what else. Oh yeah...jury duty. Never been. I was only called one time. But, it was after we moved to North Carolina. I maintain my Texas residency, so I got called for Texas jury duty. But, the military wife thing trumps that, so I was excused. LOL.
