6 days to go

Only 5 days left and then Dan & I will return to the states. We are mixed with sadness and excitement. I know its going to take a little time to get used to our regularly scheduled lives since its been nearly 9 weeks for me. I think I will have a mid year resolution when I return to really not jam as much into my schedules. I have been quite healthy and happy during my journey with less obligations.

So we are taking the train from Florence (Firenze) to Zermatt this morning and the weather forecast says they are expecting 6 inches of snow in Zermatt tonight. EEK! So we were really hoping it wouldnt get that cold during our visit but Im sure well make due. I know both Jenna & Dan are excited to see the lovely land of Switzerland. Lets hope we can find inexpensive shoes fit for the snow or that it will mysteriously warm slightly! Thanks for hanging in with me!

P.S. RIP for my D70. It quit in Rome when we were at the Colosseum. Thankfully, we still have three more cameras between us.

200th Post!

Bonjour-
Wow, I wish I could have a bunch of photos and lots of other cool things for this post. But I can say that I made it to the top of the Eiffel Tower last night! And the Arc de Triomphe. And even more, our friend Sarah made it to the top of the Arc as well. Both of us have a big fear of heights. So yay for us! Excited that Eric is arriving in Paris tomorrow. Then we're off to meet Jenna in Rome! Hugs and kisses. Be back to regular blogging in just over two weeks. Au Revoir!

Platform 9 & 3/4

I had to make a special trek to King's Cross today since I was picking up train tickets nearby at St. Pancras international. I was really sad when I saw that platforms 9-11 were closed to people holding train tickets. Then I saw it to the left, before the entrance!
Dan arrives tomorrow morning so I must be off to pack it up and get ready for his arrival. I hope to have a big update real soon!

xoxo

Ireland

I've been touring around Ireland since last Thursday. Met Jenna for a weekend in Dublin. It was so wonderful to see her! We had an amazing time. Went to Killarney National Park and loved it there. Met some incredible people through the hostel. Off to the rock of Cashel and then to London on Friday. Miss you all!
