I loved the American Crafts backyard line so much that I bought nearly a sheet of each design. I had a lot of left over scraps so I decided to make a mini album of my mom's garden during the month of May. I used a lot of fun techniques that I haven't used before or in a long time. Here is my first album that for Everything Scrapp'n.
The page on the left is stamped and embossed. I painted the page on the right with gesso paint. I learned about it from the very lovely Dani and her awesome tutorial.
I painted the right page with Gesso paint again, and then layered it with some Pink Paislee rub ons and then more paper.
More embossing on the left page with American Crafts Zing embossing powder...
I have the mini book itch lately. I finally finished my December Daily album. Once I was done with it I realized I didn't like my original cover design. So here is the new and improved design:
Hambly raffle leaf black-overlay
Bazzil kraft paper
Doodlebug Loopy Lou alpha stickers-white
Love Elsie X-mas tree embossed cardstock
Elle's Studio month embellishment
Bull dog clip
I'll have photos up of the completed inside in the next few days. Its been hard with the summer lighting to get them just right. I think that's about it for now. ;D
